Kunji was never an official word. Among Tantri’s family and close friends it meant one thing: an unmistakable feeling of blissful cosiness. Only much later did she realise it was their own affectionate vocabulary.
This table lamp, about 58cm high, brings together glazed stoneware, natural sheepskin and brass. It was made with the taller Kunjirama Lamp for Wilson & Dorset’s group show The Sheepskin Suite at Melbourne Design Week 2026, and, like it, is about comfort, memory and the personal languages of home.
Materials + Care
Every piece is made entirely by hand in stoneware clay, so expect slight variations in texture, finish, colour and size. No two pieces are exactly alike.
Handle with care. Gentle hand wash advised.
Lamps are wired by a certified electrician to Australian safety standards, tested and tagged, and made for indoor use only.

Shipping + Returns
Shipping. Online orders ship within Australia. Shipping costs $20 to $100, depending on the size of the piece, and is shown at checkout. Standing lamps are too large to post: collect yours from the studio in Carnegie, Melbourne, or ask about delivery. Buying from overseas? Please get in touch for a quote before you order.
Returns. Changed your mind about a ready-to-ship piece? You can return it within 7 days of delivery, unused and in its original packaging, with return postage at your cost. Made-to-order pieces, pre-orders and commissions are made for you, so they can’t be returned for change of mind. If a piece arrives damaged, email us within 48 hours with photos.
