The Ukiran series draws inspiration from my Balinese heritage.

These works merge traditional carving (ukiran) with designs inspired by iconic figures in Balinese mythology. The Rambut design draws from Rangda, the powerful character visually known to have wild, dreadlocked hair (rambut), reinterpreted here with my unique perspective. Each piece honours the intricate symbolism of Balinese carving, celebrating the beauty of nature and cultural tradition.
